Peter Klint

När jag befann mig i de lägre tonåren hade jag en kompis som hette (och heter förhoppningsvis fortfarande) Peter Klint. Han har visst en namne.

En tysk konstnär som heter just Peter Klint:
PETER KLINT, BORN 1971 IN WESTERLAND/ISLE OF SYLT, STARTED PAINTING INTENSIVELY IN THE LATE EIGHTIES. DURING THE NINETIES HE TRAVELLED AROUND GERMANY AND POLAND, STAYED IN MANY PLACES AND NEVER REALLY SETTLED DOWN. BESIDES DOING ART, HE HAD TO STAY ALIVE SOMEHOW AND DID AN ENDLESS LIST OF MC-JOBS. IN THE END OF 1999 HE MOVED TO HAMBURG, WHERE HE ATTENDED THE "BILDKUNST ACADEMY" FOR ONE YEAR. IN JANUARY 2001 HE STARTED WORKING ON A PROJECT CALLED "PORTRAITFIRMA". WITHIN THIS PROJECT HE PAINTED ABOUT 60 PORTRAITS. IN OCTOBER 2001 HIS PORTRAIT OF THOMAS BERNHARD WAS USED FOR THE COVER OF "THE TIMES LITERARY SUPPLEMENT", LONDON. IN OCTOBER 2002 HE JOINED THE STUCKIST MOVEMENT. IN JUNE 2004 KLINT MOVED BACK TO THE ISLAND OF SYLT, WHERE HE CURRENTLY LIVES AND WORKS.

Hurvida man kan säga att det är "bra" eller "dålig" konst vet jag inte. I alla fall så föll det mig på läppen. Se hans saker på hans hemsida.
