The Nehru jacket is an article of clothing that originates in India and became popular in the West in the 1960s. It is modelled after the jackets preferred by the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru.
The distinctive feature of the jacket is its stand-up collar. Its popularity in 1960s was buoyed by both the growing awareness of ethnic diversity and the minimalism of the Mod lifestyle, and particularly by the Beatles, who wore the jackets during their 1968 trip to India.

Alltså, jag har a l l t i d velat ha en sådan. Men var hittar man dem? Jag vill inte betala dyra pengar. Fan, de borde ju vara billigare än en vanlig kavaj, för eftersom det är en kragsnibb mindre så går det ju åt mindre tyg. Finns det billiga någonstans?
Man ser dem sällan, vilket är synd, för de är ju så snygga. Jag har rätt lång hals, så jag tror att jag skulle passa extra bra i en sån.
